My first documentary outside of school. Hot Docs 2005. The film played various national festivals that year, broadcast on TVO and shown in schools through the NFB.

SOUVENIR OF CANADA

An extended trailer for the feature film that looks at the life and art of Douglas Coupland while making the book Souvenir of Canada. The film playful explores the subject matter with re-enactments depicting moments at different time periods. TIFF 2005. National Theatrical Release 2006.

Visual montage taken from the 6 x 30min series.

The series was a commission from the Vision Channel to make six non-verbal commercial free half hour meditations on the Canadian landscape.
